Apparently there is a huge coronal mass ejection headed for earth and it should be here tonight June 24. Unfortunately here in northern Michigan it’s going to be cloudy. Oh well!
You may have noticed the two incredibly bright objects after sunset in the West. Those are the planets Venus and Jupiter. Venus is the far brighter object with Jupiter above and to the left. This grouping of planets will last throughout most of the summer so take a look when you get a chance.
This particular post was dictated to my tablet. This seems to work pretty well. Right now I’m looking out to the west with the crescent moon above Venus and Jupiter and a partly cloudy sky very nice.
How frequently I update this blog will depend entirely on how easy it is to access it from, say, my phone and my tablet, which would tend to be with me much of the time.
